I really like the staff here and Dr Singareddy is amazing. Kind, caring and knowledgeable.

I always feel comfy at this establishment. The front desk workers are always kind and courteous. Moreover, my psychiatrist (Wykeisha Highsmith) is super sweet, chill, and supportive. I really recommend her, especially for people with chronic illnesses. She actually understands my struggles and even gave me some vitamin recommendations to help with pain management. She is def the best psychiatrist I have ever had. ㅠㅠ

After struggling with treatment-resistant depression for years, I always felt my combo of meds was "good enough," and knowing first hand how bad it can get, I settled for mediocrity to avoid stirring the pot, so to speak, never wanting to disrupt whatever balance was keeping me functional. I've lived most of my adult life with an underlying fear of recurrence and the anxiety of not knowing how long it might take to find an effective treatment...and how much of what I've gained might I lose if I'm unable to function at work or, worse, not able to get out of bed? My job? The roof over my head? My kids? After my first appointment with Dr. Singareddy, I've found new hope that I may not be doomed to merely surviving thru life, but maybe I could actually thrive? He sat down with me, and we discussed my lengthy mental health history and my current challenges. He didn't make me feel rushed, and finally, he offered a recommended plan of care and allowed plenty of time for me to ask questions. His administrative staff has, so far, been very helpful, friendly, and prompt to answer any questions or address concerns. They're actually making the insurance approval process pretty much painless on my part, which is one of the most dreaded parts of seeing new doctors for me! I'm looking forward to seeing Dr. Singareddy work his magic and hopefully make life just a little less burdensome. Thank you to everyone at Empower Psychiatry & Sleep!
